Pashmina is the rarest, finest grade of cashmere — the soft undercoat of the Changthangi goat, native to the Ladakh Himalayas at over 4,000 meters, where winters fall to −40°C. That cold is what makes the fiber this fine. A single goat yields only enough for a fraction of one shawl each year, hand-combed once during the spring molt, then hand-spun and hand-woven by artisans in Kashmir — nothing synthetic, nothing mass-made.

Hand-woven from genuine pashmina cashmere sourced from the Kashmir Valley, India, this shawl is made using a generations-old craft that has defined the region's textile heritage for centuries. Pashmina cashmere is among the rarest and finest natural fibers in the world — combed from the undercoat of Changthangi goats at high altitude — and the close plain weave draws out its characteristic lightness, warmth, and natural soft sheen. The construction is finished with hand-knotted fringe along the two short width edges, while both long edges remain as clean, unfringed selvedge — a mark of authentic handloom craftsmanship. At a generous wrap size, it functions equally as a close neck wrap, a draped shoulder shawl, or a full-body wrap depending on how it is folded and carried. The colorway is a deep, saturated burgundy — rich and consistent across the entire ground of the weave.
